The city
VERONA is situated on the River Adige between Milan and
Venice, rich in history and monuments that testify to its importance
in the Roman (ARENA and ROMAN THEATRE), Medieval and
Renaissance periods. Your teacher lives in the centre of the
historic city and here in a friendly atmosphere our lessons are held
from 09.30 - 12.30 Monday to Friday. Every year from the end of June
to the end of August Verona hosts one of the most important events
in the world of the OPERA. Here you can see spectacular open-air

Description

third way that is an intensive personal program which is
planed only for you. For one week (or more) you are
together with your teacher 6 hours a day and you

knowledge. This is for those who speak Italian very
well. It's an opportunity to practice the language
intensively and to extend your vocabulary to become more
fluent. The course consists of discussions about current
events based on authentic material, translating and
reading of Italian newspapers and literature. |

The Methodology
In a relaxed
atmosphere you begin to learn and use Italian without feeling
embarrassed and quickly improve. My methodology is based upon
Listening, Comprehension and Repetition. Through
the continual repetition of the linguistic structures you can
improve the understanding of the grammatical rules. Also
conversation is a very important element of the lesson. Through
games and simulations you will practice daily situations as they are
in the normal life. Together with role-play, audiocassettes and
videocassettes your everyday experiences will give you the ideal way
to improve your vocabulary and your conversational skills. I work on
the principle that people learn more quickly doing something they
enjoy so the lessons are based as much as possible on students'
interests. To learn more vocabulary and to improve new grammatical
forms you can record your daily events and thoughts in a diary.
